It’s that time of the year when we recognize and highlight the work of local founders and startup ecosystem builders. The second annual Atlanta Startup Awards, jointly organized by members of the Atlanta startup community, will celebrate the city’s most successful rising tech companies, startup pioneers and disruptive innovators (I wouldn’t miss this!)
After an open nomination process, three finalists have been recognized in each category. Now, a panel of expert judges — and you, the public — will select the winner. Vote for your choice here.
Finalists
The Art of the Pivot Award: Growing a startup is hard. The Art of the Pivot Award celebrates a startup’s ability to change its business model, product direction, target audience, etc. and successfully revamp their business strategy.
Scrappiest Startup: Recognizes a startup that has achieved significant milestones over the last 12 months without ever raising equity or debt capital.
Best Social Impact Startup: Recognizes a mission-driven for-profit startup with a social mission who has made a great impact on the Atlanta community and/or beyond.
Best B2B Startup: Recognizes a startup that provides a product to businesses and has achieved significant milestones over the past year.
Best B2C Startup: Recognizes a startup that provides a product to consumers and has achieved significant milestones over the past year.
Best Growth Stage Startup: Recognizes startups that have shown strong product-market fit and achieved significant milestones over the past year. These companies are post-Series A, with ARR over $3-5M and 40+ employees.
Community Influencer: Recognizes an individual who has made a significant impact in the past year in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The recipient of this Award will embody Startup Atlanta’s core values: Make Connections, Add Value, Give Credit, Partner Freely, Promote Equally, with No Excuses!
Equity Champion: Recognizes an individual who has made a significant impact in the entrepreneurial ecosystem by removing barriers or providing access to underrepresented founders in the past year. The recipient of this Award will be one who holds these values: Promotes Inclusion, Removes Barriers, Provides Access and Creates Opportunities.

The Atlanta Startup Awards will kick off Atlanta Startup Week, a full week celebration of the city’s startup community that also includes Techstars Atlanta Demo Day, Venture Atlanta, Atlanta Startup Battle and the BridgeCommunity Corporate Innovation Summit.
